Turtleback Pest & Weed Control has been proudly serving Sierra County since 1980, originally established by Bill and Ann Halford. In 1997, Jim and Linda Coy took the reins, guiding the company for twenty-six years and solidifying its reputation as a trusted local business. In 2023, Louis Schwab and Joanie DeBerry took ownership, continuing the legacy of quality pest and weed management while introducing a renewed vision and expanded expertise.

With previous experience as a pest control business owner and a career teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Health Science, Joanie’s knowledge and passion for science-based solutions enhance the team’s capabilities.
